Program Rules

Program Rules

  • Trip Competition period runs from January 1, 2024 - December 31, 2024.  

  • Points will sum at month-end, and accrue throughout the year. 

  • Points will be locked in for month on the 10th of the following month for FSMs/RMs. All correction requests must be submitted prior to the 5th. Anything submitted after will not earn points towards the incentive. 

  • The prize for the Champions League trip and Champions Retreat is the trip. There is no cash value substitute if the trip is earned and the winner cannot or chooses not to attend. 

  • Results will be audited on a regular basis. If anything is found to be a bright lines violation, the individual will be removed from the competition and their results eliminated from their leader’s point totals. 

  • Point values can change on a monthly basis throughout the year. The field will be notified of any upcoming changes 7 days before the start of a month. 

  • Referral Specific: Referral points will not be earned until the 3 day ROR period has been reached. MDU/Gov Account Offices count at 50% point values. PIF accounts must be fully paid at time of install to qualify. Accounts canceled within 6 months of OSAD will forfeit points. 

  • Upsell Specific: Install Upsell from Tech Referral Accounts does not qualify for points. 

  • Pros moving between DTH and FS channels will maintain any earned points and compete in the leaderboard in which they spent the most time. Applies to FS and DTH Fulltime only.   

  • Pros who get promoted to Managers will still appear on the Pro leaderboard with the points they earned while they were Pros. However, they will not earn any new points after the promotion date; their points are frozen from that day onward. They remain eligible for a Pro spot if their frozen points outrank current Pros on the leaderboard.  

  • DTH Managers can earn a Pro spot based on their personal performance in the Pro leaderboard 

  • Failure to abide by program rules can result in disqualification from future competitions. 

Prize Acceptance

  • Employees must be in good standing with the Company as of the date of the 2024 Champions League trip. Disqualification may occur based on performance, depending on the severity and nature of the disciplinary action. Such cases will be subject to leadership review. The Company reserves the right to disqualify employees for policy and performance reasons. 

  • The prize includes a trip for two, single room with double occupancy (winner and one eligible guest) and roundtrip economy flights from a single destination. Guests must be 14 years of age (unless otherwise restricted by the destination hotel/location) or older and cannot be employees of Vivint except in the case of marriage or domestic partnership, or without leadership approval for exceptions. 

  • Children younger than 14 are not allowed on the trip. Exceptions may be made for newborn infants (up to 6 months of age) unless otherwise restricted by the destination hotel/location. If an exception is made, restrictions may be placed on which events are appropriate for the newborn to be present. It will be the responsibility of the winner to book additional flight and transportation accommodations. 

  • Travel to Champions League will be limited to flights originating within the domestic United States and only include arrangements to and from the event without additional side trips. 

  • If trip dates overlap with an hourly employees regular working schedule, they will be paid their hourly rate for the scheduled hours for those days. 

  • Prize recipients and their guest are expected to conduct themselves professionally and in accordance with company values. Any employee and/or guest not acting accordingly will be asked to leave the trip immediately at their own expense. 

  • The trip will be awarded as announced. No alternate award or credit is given for anyone wishing to opt out and qualified winners cannot “gift” their trip to another employee.  

  • Prize recipients who cannot attend the trip forfeit their prize with the exception of 3rd trimester pregnancy, or a new baby within 3 months of event dates, winners with extenuating medical conditions, VISA related passport issues for international trips, or as deemed appropriate by company leadership. All exceptions are subject to leadership verification and approval. 

  • Legal fees up to $1000 will be reimbursed for VISA related passport issues to try to obtain a passport. Cost and documentation must be approved by VP. 

  • Prize allocation will be reassessed due to company growth as needed. 

  • Vivint reserves the right to change guidelines or terminate this contest and prize at any time, with or without notice. 

Champions Choice (Home Office)

  • Qualification period begins June 1, 2024 and runs through January 31, 2025 with monthly contest periods.  

  • Nominations will be taken throughout each month and must be submitted on the designated “Peer Nomination” form. Nominations must be submitted following the instructions on the form and be received no later than the final day of each month to be considered for the monthly contest period.  

  • Any Field Ops employees (including field employees) can submit a nomination for anyone in Field Ops. 

  • All full-time Field Ops reporting up to the SVP of Field Ops and key partners with at least one year of Vivint tenure (by end of qualification period) are eligible to win a spot on the Champions League trip.  

  • Written nominee’s manager approval is required for Peer Nominations to be eligible. Managers may submit one Peer Nomination for one direct report per month. 

  • Soliciting nominations by a home office employee may lead to disqualification.  

  • 3 Peer Nominees will be chosen per monthly contest period will join the pool of finalist. 

  • The final peer nomination winners will be selected from the pool of 18 finalists by the Champions League Selection Committee. Selections are subject to leadership approval 

  • Home Office employees already attending Champions League will be eligible to win the nomination period but will not win a second trip if selected as a final winner  

  • The prize for the Champions League trip is the trip. There is no cash value substitute if the trip is earned and the winner cannot or chooses not to attend. 

  • If trip dates overlap with an hourly employees regular working schedule, they will be paid their hourly rate for the scheduled hours for those days.
